“It is a story about a man called Sai Wen, a fortune teller, who lost his horse. His friends and neighours came to him and comforted him. He said, who knows whether it is a bad thing or not, maybe a good start. Several days later, his horse came back with another beautiful stronger male horse. Friends and neighours came for celebration. He frown and said: maybe this is not a good thing. Then, several days later, his son broke his legs after riding this horse. Friends and neighours expressed their sorry for that. Mr Sai said: who knows if this is not a bad thing. Month later, all the young boys were forced to join the military and lost their lives on the battelefield. Mr Sai and his son survived because he had a broken leg and cannot join the army. I do not know whether I explain clearly about the meaning by this story. It appears really bad at certain moment or period, may appears not bad but a good turning point on one’s reviewing back.”
